FREE FRIDAY NIGHT FORUM

During the 31st Great Meredith Fishing Derby, January 30-31, 2010, a talented film crew will be photographing and filming the daily events and interviewing participants. The plan is to produce a documentary film on ice fishing in New Hampshire.

You Ought to be in Pictures!!

On Friday, January 29, 2010,  the Meredith Rotary Club will host the third annual Tip-Up Talk forum . This is a  free ice fishing panel discussion to be held  from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Meredith Community Center on Route 3 in Meredith to kickoff the 30th Great Ice Fishing Derby scheduled for the weekend of January 30-31 in New Hampshire.

Kid's Clinic: Let's Go Fishing!!

Once again, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department will sponsor several  clinics on Saturday, January 30. to teach kids the rules and regulations of ice fishing as well as tips on how to keep warm, how to set up up a tip-up, what bait to use and other handy information. The clinics are held every hour beginning at 10AM in the roped-off area directly behind the Meredith Rotary Headquarters trailer on Lake Winnipesaukee. All participants will receive a "goodie" bag of treats!
